A shallow vessel formed from sedimentary soil and gypsum, cast over hand-built clay mounds. The process binds river sediment into a consolidated mass, preserving the irregular perimeter and granular surface of the material.

The interior basin reveals the depth and tonal variation of the soil. The exterior remains untouched, retaining the irregular surface produced by the forming process.

K2130 exists within the studio as an artifact form.
